Salve ragazzi, vorrei aggiornare anch'io la vicenda della fantomatica rondella errante ritrovata all'interno della ruota nuova DT HE1800 presa da Bike Discount... finalmente mi hanno risposto via mail e, oltre a poter allegare i video e foto, ho potuto rispondere dettagliatamente: Concedetemi il copia/incolla :hail: Bike Discount: Egregio Signor, we have 2 options 1. You send it back for cchecking and repair/exchange under warranty 2. You keep the wheel ride it and come back to us if have will have any issues Please tell me what you prefer. Cordiali saluti Big Steak One: Good evening Lucas, I was waiting for your email so I could attach two videos and two photos. As you can see and feel, there is the presence of a foreign body within the rim structure. Upon returning from my first ride with the new wheels I heard this noise. While I waited for your response, I removed a few cm of tape from the valve hole up to the first spoke hole... and a washer came out. It was probably stuck and the movement while I was riding my bike dislodged it. The presence of that washer can have two explanations: 1) Extra washer fell inside during construction ... no damage, no problem. 2) Faulty washer that has come loose from the faulty nipple ... with concern that a crack may form on the rim. You very kindly gave me two options but if you allow me I'll give you my two options. 1 Option) To save resources, time and money (on your part and mine) give me permission to completely remove the tape and check whether or not all the washers are in place... so as to understand if that washer ended up there by mistake during assembly or was probably removed from its seat of the consequence that I told you (crack in the circle). If all the washers are in place, I ask you if you could send me a new DT Swiss tape (or another but of excellent quality), 23-24mm. We will all save money and we will all be happy. 2 Option) You tell me not to touch anything, you send me a new wheel and I send you this one back. What do you think? We could also chat more quickly via WhatsApp (+39 ---------------) so as to quickly find another solution. I will be leaving for holidays soon and I have to take the bike with me. While waiting for your reply, I send you my best regards, Domenico Più prestito di così... ah no, quello è Nino Frassica nella pubblicità della Compass... Più presto e chiaro di così... attendo risposta ;-)
