Questo vale per tutti i top gamma della serie Edge appena usciti. Per il prezzo non puoi comparare il prezzo di listino appena uscito con i prezzi di mercato degli altri prodotti. Io ad esempio lo pagherei €480 il 1030 Plus.

Le versioni Plus di Garmin non sono pensati per chi ha le versioni normali ma per chi ha le versioni precedenti o prodotti della concorrenza per rendere il top gamma ancora competitivo. Il 1030 veniva bruciato dall'830 sotto molti aspetti e il 1030 plus serve per colmare questo gap.
Le versioni Plus di Garmin sono sempre identiche come dimensioni e form factor perché escono in attesa del nuovo modello che secondo me uscirà nel 2021.
Comunque, DC Rainmaker come al solito ha fatto una lista completa delle differenze:
– Now black instead of white: Just like the Bontrager Edge 1030 was, except this says Garmin instead of Bontrager

– Now includes ForkSight, previous Edge 1030 update didn’t include this specifically
– New daily on-device workout suggestions based on training load
– New pause-route option (when you go freestyle off a course)
– New off-course re-route selection options
– *LiveTrack will now show the course/route that you’re on to your friends/family (whoever you’ve shared the route to)
– Onboard Storage size has been increased from 16GB to 32GB
– MicroSD card expansion slot has been removed (since you’ve got tons of on-board storage space)
– Beeper/Chirper an eff-ton louder (and a bit different)
– Up to 48 hours of GPS-on run time in a basic configuration, 36 in mid, and 24-hours in high navigation/sensor configuration
– New display/touchscreen to match that of the technology used on the Edge 830
– New Sony GPS Chipset (to match most other Garmin devices since 2019)
*Queste caratteristiche dovrebbero essere implementate nell'Edge 1030, Edge 530, and Edge 830 verso la fine dell'anno.

Concordo, tante persone per questo motivo hanno preso l'830 ma avrebbero preso il 1030 e Garmin non è stupida in questo.
Esisteva, forse esiste ancora, un dispositivo Garmin Android. Ne hai mai sentito parlare? Probabilmente no e questo spiega tutto 
Per la traccia solitamente con Garmin si può, hai guardato sul manuale?
